Today's Assigment

Today we finished watching the film (see the previous post) about the Korean War. The assignment is:


Using your notes from the film, answer the following question in 2-3 paragraphs:
“Was the Korean War a victory for the United States?”
Use at least 2 pieces of historical evidence to support your position.
Due at the end of the period with your film notes.

Containment in Asia...and last week's work

Today we are discussing the containment policy in Asia, specifically in China and Korea. The notes for today are here. We also will be the video below in class today. The assignment will be to take notes over the following question: Was the Korean War a victory for the US? We will be using these notes in class tomorrow and turning them in.
